低开销时钟同步与帧同步联合处理方案

摘要:本文针对200gbps pam4强度调制突发相干接收pon上行系统中时钟相位偏差问题,设计了一种基于平方定时恢复算法的低开销时钟同步与帧同步联合处理方案。此方案设计了一种适用于平方定时恢复时钟同步算法的训练序列,并将用于时钟同步和帧同步的训练序列进行复用。200gbps pam4强度调制pon 上行突发相干接收系统仿真结果显示,所设计方案相比于传统时钟同步与帧同步分立处理的方案,由于用于时钟同步的训练序列复用于帧同步,所以时钟同步与帧同步所需要的总训练序列开销显著降低,在对于帧同步的性能没有影响的情况下,即可实现时钟相位同步,训练开销节约了18%。此方案对于下一代高速率突发相干pon系统时钟同步具有参考意义。

abstract:in this paper, a low-overhead joint processing scheme for clock synchronization and frame synchronization based on the square timing recovery algorithm is designed for the clock phase deviation requirements in 200gbps pam4 intensity modulated burst coherent receive pon uplink systems. this scheme designs a training sequence applicable to the square timing recovery clock synchronization algorithm and multiplexes the training sequences used for clock synchronization and frame synchronization. simulation results of the 200gbps pam4 intensity modulated pon uplink burst coherent reception system show that, compared with the traditional scheme of separate processing of clock synchronization and frame synchronization, the designed scheme, due to the multiplexing of the training sequences for clock synchronization and frame synchronization. therefore, the total training sequence overhead required for clock synchronization and frame synchronization is significantly reduced, and clock phase synchronization can be achieved without affecting the performance of frame synchronization, saving 18% of the training overhead, which is of great reference significance for the clock synchronization of next-generation high-rate burst coherent pon systems.
